Comprehensive reactive power compensation system for 6kV industrial networks.

The comprehensive system of automatic reactive power regulation maintain the given power factor tg φ at the plant’s power supply points, despite the changes of the load with active and reactive power. The corresponding tango value allows you to reduce the cost of energy only to active energy costs.

For reactive power compensation we use capacitor banks, higher harmonic filters and use high power synchronous motors, which are equipped with RMB microprocessor regulators, cooperating with the central controller.

 

 

The reactive power value is determined when measuring the actual power values at the networks power points. The central system controller, having data on the power network connection and any compensation devices and points of their connection to the network, determines the appropriate reactive power amount for each compensator and transmits it to the appropriate RMB system. At the same time, the system controls the switching of capacitor banks and higher harmonic filters. After compensating for one connection, the system proceeds to the analysis of active and reactive power consumption in the next one.

 

Centralny sterownik współpracuje z komputerem, na którym praca układu jest monitorowana i wizualizowana. Układ monitoringu zapewnia także podgląd pracy silników, baterii oraz filtrów w.h. Do systemu monitorowania możliwe jest dołączenie dowolnych urządzeń nie będących częścią systemu regulacji mocy biernej. Dane z pracy układu, a także wszystkie przełączenia dokonywane w sieci 6kV są rejestrowane i archiwizowane, co ułatwia pracę dozoru i obsługi.

The central controller works with a computer where the work of the system is monitored and visualized. Moreover the monitoring system provides a preview of the operation of any engines, batteries and higher harmonic filters. It is possible to connect any devices that are not part of the reactive power control system to the monitoring system. Data from the system operation, as well as all the changes made in the 6kV network are recorded and archived, which facilitates the work of supervision and service.
